And this is the second one today.
Not only is this the second text post today, it is also the second text post today in which I am complaining.
Sorry.
Saw The Dictator with my dad tonight. I do not understand what is wrong with our country that we feel the need to make fun of our problems (and the problems of other countries) in such vulgar, offensive, ways. Granted, it was rated R, but still. I almost walked out of the theater. The only other time I’ve wanted to do that was during Vampires Suck. And I don’t like Twilight at all. But I found it so repulsive that I refused to find any humor in it.
I guess I should stick to movies like The Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for the rest of my life. That seems to be all I can handle. Or even The Pursuit of Happyness. That’s a good one.
Humanity sucks.
Oh, and another thing? The person sitting next to me in the theater was a boy who appeared to be about 10 years old. And he laughed. At things in the movie that I didn’t even know existed at age 10. But then when the lady in the health food store or whatever it is in the movie has her baby, his dad had to explain to him what an umbilical cord was.
How do you not know what an umbilical cord is at age 10 if you’re apparently old enough to understand inappropriate sex-related references.
